Southwest Youth Collaborative will hold a day of workshops on the School to Prison Pipeline and the work of the Dignity in Schools Campaign. The day will also feature a collective art piece that will speak to the struggle for educational justice.
Each day this week, members of the Student Safety Coalition and New York Civil Liberties Union (NYCLU) will distribute various Know Your Rights materials to middle and high school students throughout the five boroughs. Teams will visit New York City public schools and distribute one of the following:
