Beyond Zero Tolerance: Discipline and Policing in Pennsylvania Schools Updated 2015

On February 23, 2015 the ACLU of Pennsylvania released the updated version of their report, Beyond Zero Tolerance: Discipline and Policing in Pennsylvania Schools, originally published in 2013. The report concluded that Black and Latino students and students with disabilities have been disproportionately removed from school by out-of-school suspension, police action, and other forms of discipline. The 2015 version has been updated to include research findings on the causes of discipline disparities, new federal policy statements, and a discussion of recent developments in school policing.
