Website
The Family Involvement Network of Educators (FINE), Harvard Family Research Project.

The resources listed on the Family Involvement Network of Educators (FINE) webpage are varied and extensive. The “What’s New” category offers updated information on parent and community involvement such as articles, books, panelist presentations from past symposiums, and research developments, including new policy initiatives and research surveys. The website includes a Family Involvement Resources section with the latest research and practical information about family—school—community partnerships. The Bibliographies section lists scholarly articles, reports and books by subject areas: Adolescence; Cultural Diversity; Early Childhood Education; Student Achievement; Teacher Preparation; and Working Families. Additional resources are sectioned into Conferences (with handouts/slides), Course Syllabi, Storybook Center, Teaching Cases, and Workshop Materials.

FINE also offers an Online Resources Guide: Taking a Closer Look. This outlines applied research on family involvement gathered from 2004–2005. The guide is divided into seven sections with an annotated list of resources. Topics include among others: Student Achievement, Literacy, Parent Leadership, Community Organizing, Policy and Evaluation. Finally, the webpage offers a Newsletter and a Member Insights section for questions and ideas.
