This resource compiled by the Advancement Prodject provides sample guidelines and policies for agreements or “Memorandum of Understanding” between police departments and school districts, to ensure that they have a shared understanding of the roles and responsibilities of each entity in maintaining safe schools, while protecting students’ rights, improving school climate, and supporting educational opportunities for all students.

It includes the Memorandum of Understanding for Denver Public Schools and the Denver Police Department that Padres y Jovenes Unidos fought for in 2013.
