This May 2016 Huffington Post Blog from Eric Mann, Director of the Labor/Community Strategy Center, details the Strategy Center’s “ferocious uphill organizing” that removed military grade weapons from Los Angeles schools (a first win) with an apology from the city to students and communities for the policy that brought the weapons to LA schools.
