Howard University and the Dignity in Schools Campaign for a timely and grounding webinar centered on Black parents’ lived experiences advocating for their neurodivergent children in public schools. This conversation will mark the release of findings from “Advocating While Black: Black Parents’ Experiences with Special Education in Virginia”, a study rooted in interviews with Black families navigating special education systems under IDEA.
